We’re talking about a whole lot of land here. The land we live on, the land we farm, the land that we manage, the land that we build, the land that we manage. We have a lot of this land. We have a lot of this land. But in order to get to all those acres, we need to plant trees. Now, some of us are like trees. We may prefer to plant a tree than a flower or a plant.
I think it is a mistake to think that only a tree can live on a lot. I do not believe that all the trees that we have on our land need to be the same size or shade of tree. Some of them, I think, are so large that they are literally just over-sized versions of our entire house. Some of our trees may even be gigantic. Others will have their own gardens, or be just a part of the landscape.
One of the largest trees in our park is a massive weeping cherry tree that has been around for over a century (it’s about two hundred feet high, four hundred feet in circumference, and is forty-five feet tall. They are the largest weeping cherry trees in the United States). This tree is currently the home of our resident dog.
We have two of these huge trees in our acre lot that we just planted in the summer. There is one in the front, and one in the back, and we have one in the back as well. As you can see from the pictures, the tree in the back is the old one, and it’s actually the largest one we have in our park. It’s about thirty feet high.
This particular tree is the size of our house, so if you have one, I would recommend planting it close to the front door. This way, you can leave the front door open if you wish. Of course, you could leave the other door open, but that brings up another problem, because you just opened your door and it already lets out all the air. No wonder we have trees in our park, so we just open the door and they just keep on letting it out.
This is one of many reasons why I like to leave doors open in my back yard. But also, this tree is the only one that has ever had any disease or bug problem that can be tracked. It has never been attacked or hurt by anything, and it just sits there, waiting for the next thing that has to be attacked. Since it’s so high up, it would be nice to have a little protection from the elements, so I’m going to plant a nice hedge around it.
You can’t plant a tree high up in the woods as a shelter for your yard for a lot of reasons. First of all, your garden won’t be able to grow. Second, your yard will probably be the target of a lot of insects in the fall and winter because of the high humidity and lack of sunlight. Third, it won’t grow as well as it could. Fourth, in order to save money, you may not actually have to plant a tree.
In real life, most people do their yards with the idea that it should last for decades, but that is simply not how we do it here. If you actually do your yard with the intention that it will last for decades, you will probably do a lot of things that make it more vulnerable to the elements. The reality is that most people (even some of the most responsible and upstanding citizens) have a lot of yard issues for a lot of reasons.
We are not talking about the kinds of yard issues that you may encounter with a lawn mower or a weed whacker. We are talking about the types of yard issues that are associated with the trees and shrubs that you may have planted. The problem is that you may not even realize that your yard is a problem until you realize you have a lot of trees and shrubs that are growing in your yard.
